  3. This is the README.TXT file for Recipe Data Base program. 
  4. You can view this file from the Windows NotePad program.

  17. ABOUT THE RECIPE DATA BASE PROGRAM
  18.  
  19. This data base consists of one software program.All the data is stored
  20. in files in recipes directory. The data is stored in both text and binary format. So
  21. please do not try to edit these data files directly.  All editing should be done 
  22. through the data base program.
  23.  
  24. The evaluation or Shareware version of this program is a full working copy but will only execute for 30 days from the date of installation.  When starting the Shareware program an expiration notice is displayed informing you of how many remaining days are left for the evaluation.  If you would like to receive the registered copy of this program, please refer to the Registeration section of this file.

  26. The register copy of this programs has no expiration.  Plus all data entered during your evaluation of these data bases will still be present when the registered copy is installed.  You will lose no data when upgrading to the register copy.

  28. This program will execute on Windows 95, Windows NT 3.51, and
  29. Windows for WorkGroups 3.11.

  31. INSTALLING THE DATA BASE PRPGRAM
  32.  
  33. To install the evalutaion of shareware vesion: 
  34. The data base program is stored in the zip file "rcpdb.zip".  Simply unzip 
  35. this file in the directory where you wish to install these programs.

  37. To install the registered version:
  38. From a command prompt change to the a drive. Type in the following command:
  39.          install <directory>
  40. The <directory> is the directory where the shareware version is installed.

  44. This readme.txt is the only documentation with these programs.

  46. REGISTRATION
  47.  
  48. To receive a copy of the registered versions of these program, please send
  49. $15.00 to the following address:

  53. With this amount, you will receive the registered copy of this data
  54. base program and two other data base programs, one for wines and another for menus. Both of these data base programs intergrate with the registered copy of the recipe data base.

  60. exp.idx        This is an internal checking file. This file must exist in
  61.         order for these programs to execute.
